Internships, PhD and postdoctoral positions in the group.

I am always looking for motivated people at the intersection of statistical physics, neural networks and biological sequences. Internships are offered every year. If you are interested, get in touch by email with a CV and a short statement of interests.

PhD students

PhD recruitment follows the French academic calendar: students usually do a master’s internship (stage de M2) in the group in the spring, when the main funding calls also take place, for a PhD starting in the autumn. I therefore start talking with candidates during the preceding autumn, between October and December.

Postdoctoral position open now

We are looking for a postdoctoral candidate to work on topics at the interface of statistical physics, representation learning and generative modeling of biological sequences. Candidates should have a strong background in statistical mechanics. The position is funded by my ANR JCJC project MANUFACTURE and is expected to be filled in 2027.
